JOB PURPOSE |
To coordinate the work of APS associates and assign daily tasks and follow up on their activates |
Supply APS associates with all tools need to perform their jobs |
Maintain a high level of APS associate training |
Facilitate Management Safety, Quality and Efficiency goals |
Lead waste reduction activities |
Promote cost reduction |
Essential Functions: |
Attains the goals of the APS Manager and assigns associates based on needs and knowledge |
Guides the APS teams toward activities that reduce cost, lead time and improve safety, efficiency and ergonomics |
Trains APS associates in fundamental and advanced APS skills |
Orders material and parts needed for the APS shop, fabrication, and the production area |
Focuses on Safety, Output Improvements and Scrap Reductions. |
Develop the TS training and maintains the TS documentation for training |
Works with Management, Engineering, Maintenance and Production T/L and G/L to set/maintain the efficiency goals of the plant |
Helps to set the targets for improvement by line and area |
Education and Experience: |
•High school diploma or equivalent |
•Ability to lead associates and facilitate them to accomplish the goals required by Management |
•Strong communication skills |
•Ability to plan activities, set goals and accomplish tasks in a timely manor |
•Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office |
•Self managing |
•Strong analytical skills |
•Good use of time management |
•Strong skills using 3 sheets, Yamazumi, Lean Analysis tool box •Previous APS experience is required to apply |
